The market is tumultuous, and navigation would have been impossible without Matt. We had a long search, seeing over 50 homes with multiple realtors, he went above and beyond any of the others. He is incredibly knowledgeable about each neighborhood we had an interest in, he answered every question we had about our loan. He relentlessly notices bad repairs some homeowners and flippers have made and gives fair warning to his clients instead of trying to trick anyone into buying a bad flip. Blatant honesty is rare in any business these days but Matt keeps it real! We were in a unique situation with our rental, it was riddled with mold and falling apart at the seams, as of one week ago, we officially got the keys to our new home where toxic growth in the walls is a thing of the past. We are now saving money compared to rent. The dog finally has a yard, she runs every day! I can breathe in my house now!! I can paint the walls if I want! Matt truly saved us from a hazardous rental and though the search was tough he stuck it out with us and kept a sense of humor and reality the entire time. Going forward, there will not be another agent that we work with unless we end up in different states or something. I cannot recommend him enough!

As first-time homebuyers, my wife and I had been considering buying a house but didn’t want to get into a pushy agent-client relationship where we were exploring many houses that we didn’t have a chance to thoroughly consider just from the listing. Matt did an excellent job at listening to us on how we wanted the arrangement to work and he was extremely flexible when we needed to suspend the search. He trusted us when we said we would reach out to him about houses we were serious about, and when we finally found our house, he made arrangements so we could act quickly. Ultimately we ended up with a home that matched our personalities and lifestyles and the process was relatively pain-free (the process is still going to have its stressors but Matt didn’t add to them)!

Matt was very prompt with responding and communicating and did a great job at pointing out details we might want to be on the lookout for during the inspection process. Additionally, one of the most helpful things Matt did for us was refer us to our lender when we were struggling with self-employment income for pre-approval. This was a common pattern: if we needed anything, Matt was always willing to offer up trusted contacts and point us in the right direction even if he wasn’t sure.?
