I can’t tell you how grateful we are to our friend who recommended Matt as our realtor. After years of putting off the homebuying process due to anxiety, we finally took the leap, and choosing Matt made all the difference. From the beginning, he put us at ease and guided us through every step. Even though we had taken the Ohio State Extension First-Time Homebuyer Class more than once, we still felt unsure about many aspects of buying a home. Matt went above and beyond to explain everything in detail, from spotting potential issues in flips or certain properties, to choosing the right inspection company, to understanding lender processes, and even planning for post-purchase maintenance. What sets Matt apart is that he genuinely wants you to find the right home for you. He's a matchmaker. He didn’t rush us through the process but instead was focused on guiding us to find the best fit in both the house and the location. He asked probing questions, helping us to clarify what we were looking for. Matt is communicative and generous with his time. He was always just a text away, even during the rare time he was overseas on a family vacation. Being able to rely on him consistently made the experience feel much less overwhelming. He was available at the drop of a hat, almost always within 24 hours (and sometimes even less than that), to make a quick run to check out a listing or do the final walk-through. Matt served as our advocate, especially when the lender was a bit slow in ordering the appraisal and other parties dragged their feet. Matt was there to make sure we got to the finish line. On top of that, he’s funny, down-to-earth, and simply an all-around good guy. Even though we’ve found the right place for now, we know who we are going to call when we go to sell. We’re his biggest fans.
